The AutoTool tire changers are designed to work with both
high priced alloy wheels and steel wheels without damaging the rim or the tire.
The powerful bead breaker located on the side of the tire changer is power
enough to break even the most stubborn and rusted beads without damage to the
rim.
One of them, the AUT-211 is the perfect wheel clamp tire
changer for most general automotive service departments and medium sized tire
stores. The AUT-211 tire changer is capable to operate the majority of the
expensive alloy and custom wheels found on today’s vehicles. This new model
incorporates many great features that are found in our Top brand of tire
changers, including more powerful motor, improved steel hose connections, and a
vastly improved foot pedal assembly.
The turntable jaws (which can be covered with the standard
protective plastic inserts) hold the rim securely without damaging the surface
of the rim.
The AUT-211 comes standard with an inflator hose and gauge.
As an option, The
AUT-211 is pre-holed and ready to install the left side auxiliary arm (DAAL)
either at the time of purchase or later as an upgrade.
The AUT-211 tire changer has an improved and more powerful
bead blast inflation system. This revolutionary new Bead Blaster design installed
on many of our tire changers provides an enormous amount of air pressure and
volume (blasting air through the air holes positioned near the movable
turntable jaws) to seat the beads on most stiff sidewall tires.
This jet blast of air, directed between tire and rim gap, forces
both tire sidewalls to press solidly against the wheel so that the tire will
“hold airâ€. The jet Blasting pedal has two steps, the first step is to supply air through the hose to inflate the tire, the second step is to activate the Jet blasting at the same time is injecting air through the hose for a perfect bead seal.
This Italian design is coming in all AutoTool tire changers.
This innovative design allows the operator to seat the beads and easily inflate
the tire with the push of a pedal, even the most stubborn of stiff sidewall
tires. Of course this is only possible using the tire compound to help the tire
to slip into the rim.
The larger air tank reservoir holds up to 75% more
compressed air than most competitive tire changers. The tank is connected to
the unique valve system which utilizes an oversized hose system to deliver a
huge amount of air pressure and volume in a very short time.
As a important reminder, never use more than 50 PSI when
inflating the tire to seat the bead. NEVER exceed the maximum inflation
pressure recommended by the tire manufacture.
The AUT-211 tire changer has an standard capacity of 27
inches, with a maximum of 31 inches (when equipped with the optional LRA
adapter set).
Optional Adapters:
The AUT-211 tire changer can be equipped with the Motorcycle
Adapter Kit, ATV Adapter Kit, or the Large Rim Adapter Set.
Important note regarding the adapters, when the adapters are
installed, they prevent the use of the jet blasting on this tire changer. The
adapters slid over the standard wheel clamp jaws on the tire changer table and
will block the holes through which the bead blast shoots the jets of air. This
means that you will not be able to use the Bead Blaster to help you reseat the
bead of a tire when you are using either of these adapter sets.
